This week, it was an honor to host a special guest from the University of Milano, Italy! Beforehand, we celebrated the 100th birthday of the University of Milano together by participating in the run for the Department of Chemistry of UniMi in Idroscalo di Milano Segrate. Afterward, we transferred to Prague, where Prof. Caselli delivered an intriguing and exciting talk concerning waste valorization by ammonium metallates at our Department of Inorganic Chemistry seminar. Also, our friends from Vilnius University visited us simultaneously - A. Žarkov and A. Popov. Furthermore, we had a lot of scientific discussions about the potential project and collaboration, and we also discussed the progress of his dissertation project with his student Matteo Alberti, who is doing his research at the MultiFuN group. Of course, we did a lot of science during his visit and enjoyed time with group members by visiting Pilsner Urquell Brewery :-). We hope to meet with you and your group again in Prague or Milano ;-) - Ci vediamo presto!
